I build data systems that cut manual work.
In every role I’ve had, I’ve been the person who gets handed a new tool or a messy process and asked to make it work. I learn it, build a solution, and document it so someone else can run it.
I started in nonprofit fundraising operations at City Year and World Central Kitchen. Running donor databases taught me how organizations actually work, and how much time disconnected systems and manual steps cost the people doing the work. I attended to the University of Michigan for a master’s in information so I could build the fixes myself.
At the Michigan Medicine’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center, I designed and maintained PEARL, a participant tracking platform. SharePoint Lists held the workflow, Power Automate moved it along, and scheduled R scripts synced data through the REDCap API. It supported referrals across 10+ studies and cut manual work by about 40%.
At the City of Detroit, I built an Oracle APEX app that digitized W-9 intake for the Elections Office and synced 20,000+ supplier records from Oracle Fusion. Today I’m a Program Analyst IV on the Finance Technology team, building pipelines and Oracle apps for the city’s financial reporting.
I work mostly in Python, R, SQL, and Oracle, and I’m growing my work toward analytics engineering.
